Meet Cheronda
My name is Cheronda. Pronounced Shur-ron-duh (that’s how my parents and family say it) not sha-ron-da.
Now that my name is out of the way, here are the down and dirty details about me. Well...not too many details since for the most part I am a private person. I don’t like people in my business LOL. So why blog? Well I have knowledge and interest I want to share with you. Plus being personal can help expand my brand, reach and pockets so here we go.
I am from Chicago; but currently reside on the West Coast. I have two children, a daughter and son with a 9-year gap. Life with a 22-year old and a 13-year old keeps me on my toes. Fun fact: we are all February Aquarius. No this was not planned. I had my daughter 2-days before my 19th birthday in 2003. I was a college parent most of their early childhood. I have a few degrees; I’ll talk about those in Part 2. I don’t want to bore you.
In 2008, I established my first business Beth Judah Inc. to hold real estate I planned to purchase. Beth Judah dissolved decades ago. Since 2008, I established several LLCs, corporations and provided services as an independent contractor. After being an independent contractor from 2020-2023 it was time to take the plunge again and become an official business. In December 2023, I established CME 2 Strategic Consulting Firm and added a team. You can head over to the website to learn of the services we offer.
From August 2023 - February 2024, I took a sabbatical. It was my first time being still. I will dive into this transformational experience in a later blog. February 2024, I ended my sabbatical and turned 40. I spent 6 months only doing things that brought me joy. It allowed me to enter 40 with ease and I have not looked back.
I created this blog as a way to share my thoughts, knowledge and lived experiences in three of areas: expert, growing, and interest; to help ease your journey as you navigate the complexities of life.
